Why we built this

Rural Texans who need a well drilled, a septic system installed, or a storm shelter built shouldn't have to fill out a form on some out-of-state website, get resold as a "lead" to a dozen random contractors, and then field cold calls for weeks. That's not how business gets done in Central Texas.

We built Texas Acreage Pros with a simple approach: verify every listing against active state license records, display the contractor's phone number so you can call them directly, and never sell your information to third parties. If you request quotes, those requests go to a small set of featured local pros — and only if you ask us to.

What license-verified means

Every contractor in the directory is cross-referenced against:

• TDLR — Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (water well drillers, pump installers, electricians, and other state-regulated trades)
• TCEQ — Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (on-site sewage facility / septic installers)
• ATSA — American Tornado Shelter Association (storm shelter and safe room installers)

If a license lapses, we remove the listing. If a contractor has reported complaints, we flag it. We update the directory monthly against state records.

How Hyde Enterprises LLC makes money

The directory is free to search and free to use. We generate revenue two ways:

1. Featured listings. Contractors can pay for premium placement on relevant county pages. Featured slots are always labeled and never displace verified free listings.
2. Direct quote routing. When landowners request quotes through our form, we route the request to a small group of featured pros for that county and service. Contractors pay a flat monthly fee for quote routing — never per-lead. This keeps prices transparent and predictable.

We do not sell contact information to third parties. We do not resell leads across multiple platforms. If a contractor stops meeting our quality standard, they lose their featured status regardless of what they're paying.

If you're a licensed contractor in Texas and don't see your business listed — or if the listing information is incorrect — contact us and we'll add or correct it. Basic listings are free and always will be. Featured placement is optional.
